    Introduction Endometriosis is a chronic condition that affects millions of women worldwide, often leading to severe pelvic pain, heavy menstruation, and infertility. One of the most common and distressing symptoms of endometriosis is dysmenorrhea or painful menstruation. The condition occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus (the endometrium) grows outside of the uterus, typically on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or the pelvic lining.
